HORCHATA SPRITZ




The spritz you didn’t know you needed - the Horchata Spritz combines creamy homemade horchata, a hint of cinnamon spice, and the lively bubbles of La Marca Prosecco. Add a splash of silver tequila, then finish with a dusting of ground cinnamon and a star anise or cinnamon stick to garnish. This spritz is smooth, spiced, and crafted to make every moment feel special.


Ingredients:


For the Horchata


• ½ cup long-grain white rice, rinsed

• 2 cups water

• 1 cinnamon stick

• 1 cup almond or oat milk

• 5-6 tsp vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt



For the Spritz


• 3 oz chilled horchata (from recipe above or high-quality store bought)

• 1 oz silver tequila (optional)

• 1-2 oz La Marca Prosecco, chilled

• Ice, for serving

• Ground cinnamon, for dusting

• Cinnamon stick or star anise, for garnish


To make:


To make the horchata, blend long-grain white rice, 2 cups water, and 1 cinnamon stick. Strain it into a bowl, adding almond or oat milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir to create the perfect mixture.

To make the Horchata Spritz, add all ingredients into a glass over ice. Top with La Marca Prosecco. Dust with ground cinnamon and garnish with a cinnamon stick or star anise.
