SNAP PEA SPRITZ

Add a twist to the classic gin and tonic with our perfect springtime spritz! This crisp and refreshing cocktail combines bright and bubbly La Marca Prosecco with the botanical notes of gin, zesty lemon juice, and the sweet, herbaceous flavors of snap pea simple syrup. Your signature sip for spring, the Snap Pea Tonic & Spritz pairs beautifully with backyard garden parties and sunset soirées. Be sure to prep the simple syrup ahead of time so you can serve this spritz in a snap!

Ingredients


• 4 oz La Marca Prosecco
• ¾ oz snap pea simple syrup (*see recipe below)
• ½ oz lemon juice
• 2 oz club soda
• 1 oz tonic water
• Garnished with half snap pea and lemon wheel

*Snap Pea Simple Syrup:
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup water
• ¼ cup chopped snap peas

Instructions


To make the snap pea simple syrup, add sugar, water, and chopped snap peas to a small pot. Heat over low heat and stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, let simmer over low heat for another 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let fully cool. Strain out snap peas once fully cooled. Store simple syrup in refrigerator for up to four weeks.

To make the Snap Pea Spritz, add snap pea simple syrup and lemon juice to a glass with ice. Add La Marca Prosecco, club soda, and tonic water. Stir gently and garnish with half of a snap pea and lemon wheel.
